Basic Parts of Rubber V Ring Seals

The seal is comprised of three basic parts. The BODY of the seal holds the shaft and other mounting surface. The CONE SHAPED FLEXIBLE LID, which rides in light contact with the counter surface and does the sealing purpose. The RESILIENT HINGES provide the force and joins the other two parts together. All these parts work together for exceptional performance.

Installation

The V Ring Seal supplied by us can be easily installed without the use of any tools. It is a rubber, hence it can be stretched up to 250% of its molded I.D. and can be stretched over bearing housing, flanges and collars. To assemble the seal, it is stretched onto the shaft manually and then pushed up against the counterface to the specified width.
